Websites & marketing for fishing guides.
I build websites that book fishing trips.
Built by a guide's daughter. Proven on my dad's boat.I'm Lexy — a fishing guide's daughter who runs digital marketing for a living. When my dad's guide service needed a real web presence, I built it from scratch. Now I do the same for guides who'd rather be on the water than fighting with Google. You guide. I handle the internet.

Your reputation fills the boat. Your website should fill the calendar.
Three ways I help fishing guides get found, get trusted, and get booked — priced for working guides, not corporate lodges.
A complete guide site — trips, rates, photos, booking form, Google listing — written and built for you. Mobile-first, fast, and 100% owned by you. No platforms taking a cut, no hostage URLs.
Packages & pricingThe build is the foundation — the growth is the product. Ongoing content, Google Business Profile management, reviews, and rank tracking, with a plain-English report so you always know what's working.
How it worksMy first client was my dad's Lake Oahe guide service. The case study shows exactly what I built and its real Google numbers — updated as they climb, unedited. Judge me on that.
Read the case studyMy dad's website belonged to someone else. So I built him one he owns.
For years his web presence was a cookie-cutter site run by a booking platform that took a cut of every trip — and when he left, they kept the URL. I rebuilt him from zero: lakeoaheadventures.com, his domain, his data, his leads.
Eighteen days after launch it ranked #1 for "mobridge sd fishing" — and booked its first guided trip (plus a ranch rental) from a client who Googled it and said it was the first place that came up. The full case study tracks every number as it grows.
See the Real NumbersI didn't plan any of this. That's what makes it good.
I started in the service department of a Ford store in rural South Dakota — no vehicle experience, no training, just a stubborn belief that I could figure it out. Senior master techs with 40+ years on the job took me seriously from day one. That foundation changed everything.
A couple of years later, a marketing position opened up at Beadle Auto Group — a three-rooftop dealership group spanning two towns in South Dakota. Eight years later I'm running paid search, Meta, SEO, CRM, and content — solo — on a rural budget, with zero agency. That's the exact skill set a small guide operation needs: making every marketing dollar earn its keep.
Outside the office? I'm a wife, a mom, a barrel racer, a fishing fanatic, and the proud (slightly chaotic) owner of six horses along the Missouri River. This site is all of it — the real version.

This isn't a faceless agency. It's real talk from a real life — marketing strategy, the Missouri River, and six very opinionated horses.
I'm a solo marketer running paid search, Meta, SEO, CRM, and content for a rural dealership group — with AI as my extra set of hands. I write about what's actually working, what isn't, and the tools I use every day so you don't have to figure it out alone.
I also publish The 701 List — an independent ranking of North Dakota's home-service pros in Bismarck-Mandan, built on real customer reviews instead of paid placement.
This summer we're documenting our family fishing life on the Missouri River — GoPro, Meta glasses, and all. Tight Lines with the Tabberts is real casts, real catches, real laughs. Already live on TikTok and growing fast.
Two horses named after John Wayne films, a spicy red barrel horse stolen from my husband, and a one-eyed pony my daughter adores. Ranch life along the Missouri River is never boring and always worth sharing.

Real experiences. Real results. No fluff.
Meet the herd.
Six horses. Six completely different personalities. All of them a little quirky, all of them completely ours. From McClintock — the giant puppy dog I bought with my very first income tax return right out of high school — to Outlaw, my daughter's one-eyed pony that the whole herd protects like treasure.
This is ranch life along the Missouri River in Mobridge, South Dakota. It's messy, it's beautiful, and every single one of them has a story worth telling.
My very first horse, bought with a small income tax return right out of high school. Named after the 1963 John Wayne film — because of course he was. He's bucked me off more times than I can count and is the sweetest horse I've ever known. He lives a full puppy dog life and my heart lives with him.
Came home alongside Russell in a purchase that makes a great story for another day. Big, beautiful, and completely in charge. Digger is a blast to ride and rope off — and he will absolutely remind you who runs this herd.
My husband and father-in-law bought him. I hated him immediately — he kicked at me, sneered at me, wanted nothing to do with me. Two years later I had completely stolen him. We learned to barrel race together. Small, spicy, and all mine. My heart horse.
Named after the 1953 John Wayne film and every bit as unforgettable. An untouched 2-year-old paint quarter horse we started ourselves — from his very first haltering to the first leg over his back. Huge, tall, a little quirky with one crooked foot and a notched ear. Gentle as they come and full of potential.
Kicked as a baby and lost an eye. Spunky, loved, and fiercely protected by every person and horse on this ranch. Outlaw has absolutely no idea he is a pony — and we will never be the ones to tell him.
My uncle's number one heel horse — she has seen everything the arena has to offer. We took her as a retirement home and she found her calling as Outlaw's self-appointed guardian. She stands over him when he sunbathes. The most earnest soul on the whole place.
Family. Fish. The Missouri River.
This summer we are taking our fishing content to a whole new level. GoPro mounted, Meta glasses on, rod in hand — my husband and I are documenting our life on the Missouri River the way it actually happens. The casts, the catches, the ones that got away, and every laugh in between.
